This face mask case was created in CAD OnShape and printed out using a 3D printer at Marist College. The purpose of this project was to create a functional product. My idea concept was simple yet effective. I realized that whenever I take off my face mask to eat or drink I’m challenged by a clean place to hold the mask. I decided to create a box that has a slide opening to keep the face mask secure and clean.
The second product design is a wind resistant Bic lighter case. I had the opportunity to collaborate with three of my classmates to create a product that we could improve. We decided to design a lighter case that can prevent the wind from blowing out the flame. During this process we came up with multiple prototypes, case designs, and pricing.
